October holds a special place in my heart. It is when my husband and I started our relationship 6 years ago, when I started Sibley Designs 5 years ago, and it's Breast Cancer Awareness month--a cause that was dear to my husband's mother before she passed away 11 years ago. Karen Brasseaux was a "soccer mom," a loving wife, a sweet sister and a best friend to all. She loved pink, especially because of strength and courage the color represents. Because of how it affected her own life, she was an advocate for breast cancer awareness. It is my turn to give back to an organization that helps save lives every year. We all have so many loved-ones to be thankful for, and I believe a hand-written note is the perfect way to show that!
