October holds a special place in my heart. It is when my husband and I started our relationship 6 years ago, when I started Sibley Designs 5 years ago, and it's Breast Cancer Awareness month--a cause that was dear to my mother-in-law before she passed away 11 years ago. Karen Brasseaux was a "soccer mom," a loving wife, a sweet sister and a best friend to all. She loved pink, especially because of strength and courage the color represents. Because of how it affected her own life, she was an advocate for breast cancer awareness. The Lourdes Foundation is helping to support a new comprehensive cancer wing* at Our Lady of Lourdes hospital, and if we reach the goal of $500, a brick paver will be made in Karen’s honor*. We all have so many loved-ones to be thankful for, and I believe a hand-written note is the perfect way to show that! 

*UPDATE: The infusion clinic expansion is in progress and scheduled to be completed November with move in date of November 15, 2019. The brick paver has been made and will be installed in mid-October!
